A penthouse in Astana (Kazakhstan) in a residential area characterized by sophisticated buildings with distinct shapes, so the project began with excellent potential. The concept was to create an indoor zen garden, enhancing an environment that otherwise would not have had its precise definition.
The project required a complete restoration that included the installation of the Sunroom Puro TT thermal break system, ideal for creating conservatories. Creating an oasis of well-being that radiates light and relaxation was the goal of our partner, Salvatore Autorino Associati, which took care of both the design and installation. The Puro TT conservatory with thermal break profiles covers an area of about 25 m2 within four perimeter walls with S.70 TT sliding glazed units, also with thermo-insulated profiles. Light plays the leading role in the new environment with the glass roof that promotes the refraction of the natural light. Already at the beginning of the design phase, glass was elected to ensure a direct relationship with nature: Puro TT is, in fact, made up of glass elements and very slim aluminium beams. Even the wood elements, with their warm and natural tones, increase this magical harmony. Using the Puro TT roof made it possible to create a flat roof with a modern design, in line with the architectural style of the home. The S. 70 TT sliding doors with two or three panels installed on all four sides of the large courtyard offer maximum flexibility and light. On the outside of the penthouse the completely openable Oskura bioclimatic pergola with retractable slats was installed to be able to enjoy the terrace in the mildest season and to have a pleasant conversation area overlooking the city.
Thanks to the large glazed units, the use of high-performance materials, and the expert space distribution, this penthouse is the result of excellent renovation work using technologically cutting-edge Sunroom products with unique expressive shapes.
