VILLA WITH GARDEN Rome

A dream setting for a beautiful detached villa in the outskirts of Rome. The client was looking for an extension of its building that would make it possible to enjoy the large outdoor space without sacrificing comfort and liveability in every season.

Tecnoart is the installer partner that, through the creation of the large Clima TT conservatory with thermal break covering about 30 m2, built a living area that can be used throughout the year to be able to enjoy the outdoor space with a functional and constant connection with the environment inside the home.

Initially a masonry perimeter threshold was built to overcome a previous height difference, then the entire structure was installed with some important aesthetic and functional features. For example, the glazing covering part of the roof has the dual purpose of hiding part of the sloping roof on the structure and at the same time hiding the movement of the curtains, which is not pleasing to the eye.

The S.150 TT minimal sliding door with thermal break was chosen for the entire perimeter of the structure to facilitate a full view of the outside, thanks to its reduced profiles with a modern and exclusive design and to the excellent thermal-acoustic insulation for optimal living comfort.

PRIVATE VILLA BUDAKESZI

A relaxation area with over 40 square metres in a beautiful villa in Budakeszi at the outskirts of the Budapest metropolitan area: here is an oasis of rest and peace, to enjoy in both summer and winter. Our installer partner Sunwood created this Motus TT conservatory with thermal break using S.60 TT folding doors and S.70 TT sliding doors, both with thermo-insulated profiles.

All Sunroom products used in this project were produced based on the customer’s specific needs in terms of finish (the wood effect is in complete harmony with the surrounding environment) and size, with sliding and folding glazed units.

The project called for the creation of a Motus TT conservatory with thermal break profiles with nine modules and three panels in depth. Iron reinforcements were inserted to resist the snow load, which is very high in this area. The glazing chosen is glass with double glazing. On the left side there is the S.60 TT folding door with six panels with shatterproof double glazing and packing on one side towards the outside to create the smallest footprint. The client also requested a door with a three-point lock. On the front there is the S.70 TT sliding door with thermal break profiles, 2-track with two panels, to offer an excellent result on both an aesthetic level with its wide view at the front of the conservatory, and on the level of thermal performance. The right side has a S.70 TT sliding door with three panels that slide on three distinct tracks.

Relaxing in the whirlpool tub, enjoying the fabulous view of the snowy landscape from a sofa surrounded by glass, perhaps even after having a stressful day at work, is a dream come true!

IJSSALON ROSARIA’S

The long beach, the sea, and the worldly life makes Egmond aan Zee a perfect destination to explore and enjoy the wonders of Holland and… to enjoy an ice cream or a pizza (Italian, of course!) even in the land of tulips. The name hints at the Italian origins of Ijssalon Rosaria, where a stop is a must for a rich breakfast, a quick snack, or dinner with friends accompanied by a wonderful sunset by the sea.

And to best use all of the space this business activity had to offer, a Clima TT roof for thermal break conservatories was installed along with the S.60 TT folding door with thermo-insulated profiles for excellent resistance to the temperatures that can be quite extreme in this area. The practicality of a folding system for a commercial location is obvious: always made to measure, the S.60 TT folding door with thermal break profiles has no length limits and offers great freedom of design. Also, the ability to insert a low threshold minimizes the thickness in transit to make it easier for customers and staff to move between the indoors and outdoors. And finally, the customization of the colours and finishes is perfectly integrated with the style of the building.

VILLA WITH GARDEN

In the Styria region, in Austria, as part of a renovation project for a typical Austrian home, our partner Glavassevich Wintergärtner GmbH created a new conservatory with living and relaxation area, inserting two distinct Sunroom structures, (Puro and Puro TT with thermal break profiles) and a S.150 TT minimal sliding door system, also by Sunroom.

The design is in complete harmony with both the landscape and the architectural context. Using Sunroom products, an innovative solution was found that enhances the outdoor areas, making them usable throughout the year. Specifically, the project was aimed at stimulating the desire to use this large (now habitable) terrace, respecting the special features of the building and its sustainability.

The first Puro TT structure with thermal break profiles is located to the right of the building and is ca. 25 m2 with a roof glazing with 48 mm insulated panels. The snow load is 160 kg/m2 and the beams are steel-reinforced to cope with the heavy snowfall during Styria winters. For maximum thermal comfort, the front of the structure has S.150 TT minimal sliding doors with three panels, while the sides have the two-panel type. Both systems have triple-glazing. The installation of the second Puro structure with non-thermal profiles allows the outdoor space to be flexible with outdoor, practical, and functional furnishings. This area is about 30 m2 with glazing in the roof made up of multi-layered glass.

The Sunroom conservatory integrates perfectly in this exclusive space, which is now completely usable, and contributes to making the house unique and an expression of those who live there.

Private Villa Eger

Between the Mátra Mountains and the Bükk massif, in the Eger River valley, lies the town of the same name, famous for its ample hilly areas, the tranquillity of its valleys, and of course for its good wine! In this setting, a beautiful villa was able to combine a modern style with a more classic one, thanks to the creation of a large Sunroom conservatory in typical European style.

Our partner, Sunwood, installed a state-of-the-art Clima TT aluminium system with thermal break for conservatories based on an original project, with everything custom-made and adequate profiles in terms of capacity and depth, based on the climate. The solution used is fitted to the wall and allows everything to be close at hand, creating a dedicated area that is attached to the house.

Clima TT system in aluminium with thermal break for conservatories has an aesthetic quality that is obvious in the minimum profile of the beams, with a slender appearance, which promotes the maximum amount of sunlight in this large living area, with an obstruction-free view of the outdoors on three sides. The owner also chose to insert a motorised dormer for constant exchange of natural air.

OMPHALOS PRIVATE HOME

The project, carried out by our partner, Omphalos By Hobbyverde was built in the famous hillside region of Langhe.  The area involved covers about 20 m2, where the pre-existing portico has a truss structure made entirely of wood.

The new Clima TT conservatory with thermal break covers a surface area that is 5.5 m wide by 1.2 m deep, with a small roof and glass closures along the front (with three, 3-track panels) and on the sides with a type with two panels that slide on two different tracks. The system chosen was the S.70 TT sliding door, which offers solidity and excellent insulation thanks to its thermal break profiles. The Sunroom S. 70 TT sliding system is also ideal for opening it wide during the summer and allows a maximum view of the splendid Langhe panorama. Finally, the shaped upper gable was installed on the wood beam.

The peculiarity of the project is evident in the perfect synergy of the elements used to create the new Clima TT conservatory while taking advantage of all of the characteristics of the existing building. In this way it was possible to create a comfortable, bright environment with excellent thermal performance in harmony with the architectural context and landscape.

Independent house Cuneo

Customization, appearance, and transparency: these are the key words for the Clima TT conservatory with thermal break created by our partner, Cuneo Tende, in Cuneo.

The owner wished to create a large, elegant, and bright dining room. As always, they started with the customer’s requirements: for this reason a wall was removed to create a large living area that joined the main body of the house to the Clima TT conservatory.  On the three sides, the S. 70 TT sliding doors with thermal break profiles were also installed to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the structure.

Research, attention to design, and teamwork between the Sunroom group and the installer partner, Cuneo Tende all contributed to the creation of a unique space, a source of well-being and always in step with the times.

Single-family house Montecarlo

In the outskirts of Montecarlo, along the French Riviera, there is an imposing villa where our partner, Cuneo Tende, installed a large Clima TT conservatory with thermal break profiles.

The area involved covers about 30 m2 and runs along the back of the residence. The roof glass includes glazing with insulating panels for maximum insulation. The S. 70 TT sliding doors with thermo-insulated profiles that completely enclose the perimeter of the structure alternate with fixed elements and ensure excellent thermal insulation.

A new, hospitable and bright environment that can be used as a dining room or relaxation area and that undoubtedly enriched the identity and value of the building.

MOUNTAIN CHALET

Even the outdoors can be at high altitude! In this snowy mountain area around Cuneo, our partner Cuneo Tende has carried out the installation of the Clima TT conservatory with thermal break and with the S.70 TTsliding doors with thermo-insulated profiles, all of course with the guarantee of the Sunroom brand. The project involved the construction of special anchors because since the house is completely made of wood, specific technical choices needed to be made. To enhance the cabin feature – built using green techniques – they chose to add the exclusive Clima TT conservatory with thermal break profiles designed for the mountain area to the front of the structure as it is able to resist even the coldest temperatures, retaining its stability over time. Also, inside the profiles, steel reinforcements were planned to further increase their capacity. The large S.70 TT sliding doors allow full enjoyment of the breathtaking panorama of the valleys and, thanks to the thermal break profiles, guarantee excellent insulation and greater energy efficiency.

HOTEL 5 HÁZ BORBIRTOK

Located in Somlószőlős, the exclusive Hotel 5 Ház Borbirtok offers green spaces and a warm and lively welcome.  All units have a patio overlooking the garden, where guests can enjoy a glass of the fine wine that is produced in this fertile area. The sun terrace and the garden with barbecue make this environment unique and special, like the Sunroom Puro TT conservatory used as a relaxation area with large seats in modern and elegant colours. Our partner, Sunwood Sro performed the state-of-the-art installation of the Puro TT roof with thermal break profiles. Thanks to the particular horizontal structure of the roof it is possible to “hide” the slope of the beams inside, in order to obtain an internal height that is higher than a traditional roof. The combination of the slender load-bearing beams and the horizontal frame profile promotes an increased static and dynamic load capacity, even in particularly snowy areas such as in this Hungarian region. The colour of the profiles is in harmony with the exposed stone structure, to offer guests of the 5 Ház Borbirtok a sophisticated and protected environment.

Private residence Styria

In Styria, in the green heart of Austria, we admire one of the most enchanting conservatories that expertly combines innovation, leveraging of space, and a modern appearance in a unique architectural work that is able to integrate itself in the natural context in a harmonic and balanced manner.  In this project, the owner requested the creation of a new living space that could offer comfort throughout the year and the possibility of obtaining an extra room to be used mainly as a living area. The project was implemented by our partner Glavassevich Wintergärtner GmbH.

The structure of the ca. 35 m2 Puro TT conservatory, made of completely recyclable aluminium, has thermal insulated profiles to efficiently resist even the frigid temperatures of the Styria winters. All components are slim and sturdy, but offer very high energy performance at the same time. The use of such a large glazed unit provides brightness and heat to the entire conservatory.  Besides the Puro TT roof, along the perimeter the S.75 TT folding glazed unit with thermal break profiles was installed, with one panel used as a door. The result is truly impressive, a new environment, full of light, and open to a 360° view of the Styria valley, an elixir for the body and mind!  The conservatory is a way of life: an oasis of well-being within your own house, where you can relax comfortably, spend time with your friends, gaze at the starry sky, or read a book, protected by the atmosphere of the house while being completely surrounded by nature.

Having added a living area with a panoramic view by means of the Puro TT conservatorywith S.75 TT folding glazed unit that can be completely opened, undoubtedly increased the building’s commercial value while also adding a unique charm to this splendid Austrian residence.

Penthouse Astana

A penthouse in Astana (Kazakhstan) in a residential area characterized by sophisticated buildings with distinct shapes, so the project began with excellent potential. The concept was to create an indoor zen garden, enhancing an environment that otherwise would not have had its precise definition.

The project required a complete restoration that included the installation of the Sunroom Puro TT thermal break system, ideal for creating conservatories. Creating an oasis of well-being that radiates light and relaxation was the goal of our partner, Salvatore Autorino Associati, which took care of both the design and installation. The Puro TT conservatory with thermal break profiles covers an area of about 25 m2 within four perimeter walls with S.70 TT sliding glazed units, also with thermo-insulated profiles. Light plays the leading role in the new environment with the glass roof that promotes the refraction of the natural light. Already at the beginning of the design phase, glass was elected to ensure a direct relationship with nature: Puro TT is, in fact, made up of glass elements and very slim aluminium beams. Even the wood elements, with their warm and natural tones, increase this magical harmony. Using the Puro TT roof made it possible to create a flat roof with a modern design, in line with the architectural style of the home. The S. 70 TT sliding doors with two or three panels installed on all four sides of the large courtyard offer maximum flexibility and light.  On the outside of the penthouse the completely openable Oskura bioclimatic pergola with retractable slats was installed to be able to enjoy the terrace in the mildest season and to have a pleasant conversation area overlooking the city.

Thanks to the large glazed units, the use of high-performance materials, and the expert space distribution, this penthouse is the result of excellent renovation work using technologically cutting-edge Sunroom products with unique expressive shapes.

TERRACED HOUSE Ferrara

In this installation by our partner Edilpiù, the owner of this house near Ferrara could decide to use the entire area of the house to quickly and easily create a dedicated and hospitable environment to use throughout the year.

The ground floor had a 25 m2 inner courtyard that, thanks to the installation of a Motus TT sliding roof with thermo-insulated profiles, is now a kitchen area with table and fireplace, maintaining constant communication with the main part of the house. The inner shaft, lined with a beautiful mosaic and wood floor ensure the new Motus TT conservatory a great personality and elegance.  The building and installation of this type of work always requires expert staff that, based on their experience and professional preparation, will be able to propose the most suitable design.

At first, installer partner Edilpiù removed some fixtures that obstructed the proper positioning of the upper part of the roof. Then they raised the side wall about 30 cm to make the base of the structure uniform. Finally, they installed the Motus TT thermal break roof with four modules, three panels deep to offer a complete view of the sky, for natural light and ventilation. The gutters and downpipes were positioned internally.

The particular feature is primarily the ability to open the Motus TT roof almost completely and move each individual module as desired. The movement is fluid and silent and remotely controlled for maximum comfort.

DISHOOM CARNABY RESTAURANT

Whether it is a hotel, bar, restaurant, chalet, or a modern loft, every building has its own essence and distinctiveness: spaces to preserve, environments to create. Some spaces require minimalism, others solidity, plus it is essential to be able to make use of the spaces all year round, protected from the sun, wind, and rain. Whatever the specific needs or weather conditions, our English partner, Crown Outdoor Ltd. has the best solution. Like the iconic restaurant, Dishoom Carnaby in the centre of London in which the Motus TT roof with thermal break profiles was installed.

Elegant and refined, at Dishoom Carnaby you can relax in the typical atmosphere of a café in Bombay, and yet, we are in London in the most exclusive heart of the City. The project began to be able to make use of areas considered “too small” that were easily transformed into two distinct rooms to welcome customers of Dishoom Carnaby. The largest, with the first Motus TT roof with thermal break profiles covers a surface of about 35 m2 where you can enjoy Indian specialities and breathe in a magical atmosphere. The other has over 20 m2 and offers additional space in this exclusive business with the second openable Motus TT roof with thermal break profiles.

Eccentric, young, and provocatively focused on an alternative offer in terms of both cuisine and style, Dishoom Carnaby chose the best for its openable roofs with the installation of Motus TT with thermal break profiles, very useful in business situations. Both structures used are made up of three modules each and each handling unit controls two modules. This exclusive system allows maximum flexibility of use since you can open or close each pair of modules independently.

Single house Rocca di Papa

Creating a space that was liveable all year round was the desire of the owner of this charming house in the outskirts of Rome. With a Sunroom thermal break conservatory custom designed according to the customer’s wishes, the dream became reality.

The installer partner Baltera followed the project, carrying out all surveys on-site, and prepared a quick installation with no critical issues. The brightness from the numerous glass elements and the large sliding panels, in addition to the delicate colours of the profiles and furniture, make it a real glass envelope, secure and comfortable in every season.

The Clima TT conservatory with thermal break profiles was chosen for its functionality and its modular layout that allows the creation of an infinite number of shapes – rectangular, trapezoidal, polyhedral, diamond-tipped – to integrate it with the surrounding environment and give it the desired architectural style. What’s more, thanks to the S. 70 TT sliding doors, also with thermo-insulated profiles, it is possible to open it wider to a full view of the outdoors.  The result is a Sunroom thermal break conservatory: a special and unique oasis to enjoy in your own home.
