Discovering Black’s: Innovative Design on Cattolica Beach

In the picturesque seaside town of Cattolica, there is an architectural jewel that fascinates and inspires: it is Black’s, a modern venue that goes far beyond its definition of a café. This elegant and characteristic bar is a perfect example of how intelligent design and architectural innovation can transform even the most compact spaces into oases of openness and hospitality.

One of Black’s strengths is its use of Sunroom’s Tuttovetro Slide system, which allows a seamless continuum between interior and exterior spaces. In a limited space, this architectural solution offers an incredible total openness, allowing visitors to enjoy the panoramic view of the waterfront without intrusive visual encumbrances.

One of the most surprising features of this solution is the fully glazed curved corner on a fixed frame. This bold architectural choice, also installed by Sunroom, gives Black’s a distinctive touch and uniqueness that captures the visitors’ attention. The result is a bright and airy space, where natural light abounds and the feeling of freedom is palpable.

But the real magic of Black’s lies in its ability to offer an experience of openness and roomines even within limited spaces. This achievement demonstrates how architecture and design can overcome dimensional challenges, creating places that make people feel at ease, no matter how small.

In a world where architectural innovation and intelligent design come together, Sunroom always manages to create extraordinary examples of how creativity can transform environments. The appeal is for those seeking a unique experience, which combines modern aesthetics with functionality, demonstrating that even small spaces can offer a great feeling of openness.

Villa with garden Dunajská

An old-fashioned atmosphere for this impressive residence in Dunajská Streda, in the green Danube region. The solution chosen for this project allowed the replacement of major masonry areas with completely glazed walls to create a vast regenerating and comfortable space that breaks down the boundaries between outside and inside.

On the front of the building, the total glazed surface extends for over 20 metres, inside of which we find three bays in which the Sunroom collapsible Tuttovetro frameless system was installed and which extends for about twelve metres. Fixed glazed elements and two entry doors complete the perimeter of the house.

The Sunroom collapsible Tuttovetro frameless system used in the project has twelve panels with two variable angles and internal packing on a single side to create minimum footprint. The tempered glass is 10 mm thick and the aluminium profiles on the upper and bottom tracks were customized with a “wood effect” finish to integrate perfectly in the architectural and environmental context.

Villa with pool BURGENLAND

When we think about the word “outdoors”, our mind immediately imagines relaxation and a free and natural space to experience according to our way of life. In the hills of Burgenland, in Austria, we find this splendid villa with a large pool and garden – the ideal place to stay in harmony with nature…without giving up comfort!

And to obtain the result we are expecting, it is always good to contact a specialist who can propose the best solution for any context. In this case the answer is simple: Sunroom Tuttovetro Slide – frameless sliding door. The elegant sliding glass system with a minimal design that protects against weather such as rain or wind, amplifies the view of the panorama, and integrates perfectly in the new functional area between the pool and garden.

Our installer partner, Kollarits Josef Gmbh installed the Sunroom Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding doors with five parallel panels that slide on five different tracks on the side part, while the front part has a four-track, four panel system. The gaskets, that were inserted between the tempered glass panels, increase the resistance to water, air, and weather.  The handle on the panel has a sophisticated, minimal design. A further detail not to be underestimated is the bottom track that is flush with the floor to promote greater fluidity between the inside and outside.

HOUSE WITH GARDEN Niederösterreich

In the beautiful setting of Lower Austria, the most extensive and agricultural region of Austria, is the house where our partner, Kollarits Josef Gmbh created an outdoor space with two different types of glazed units.

For the front and side glazed surfaces, the Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system was chosen. Three-track and with three panels, it has a handle with a minimal design inserted directly on the panel. Also, upon request, an external lock with safety key was added.  This type of glazed unit allows an immediate and complete visual connection between the relaxation area and the outdoor garden to be able to enjoy the light and panorama with zero impact on the architectural complex thanks to the absence of vertical profiles on the panels. On the side, on the other hand, the two and three panel type S.30 folding door was used. This solution allows the space to be optimized and practical and safe access to the stone stairs that lead directly to the garden, located near the structure. The packed opening, with a very small footprint, completely frees up the space.

In this context choosing the Sunroom product that best met the customer’s need was important to allow the new environment to be enjoyed in complete comfort and security.

VILLA WITH POOL Faenza

This single-family, modern style villa is situated in Faenza and was designed by the Ghetti-Venturini Architectural Studio. It has two main areas united by a central body and a large outdoor area with a pool.

The house was designed to blend into the surrounding garden, keeping comfort and functionality as the most important elements. The large amount of glass allows the daylight to illuminate the environments in all seasons and at any time of the day, with a full, unobstructed view of the spacious garden. The vast outdoor area is in continuous contact with the building itself. Great care was taken in the analysis of the villa’s energy efficiency, designing it to have zero impact and thus equipped with doors and windows with high thermal insulation that negate the risk of thermal bridges or sound pollution.

The large glazed units were created using the Sunroom S. 150 TT sliding system with minimal profiles with thermal break and installed according to the state-of-the-art by our partner, Edilpiù. From the technological point of view, the Sunroom minimal sliding door – with a central node size of 26 mm – ensures high thermal and sound insulation performance. Performance is ensured by the thermal break technology, in polyamide, that allows the development of solid and resistant profiles with reduced dimensions. The S.150 TT minimal sliding system allows the interpretation of different design solutions due to its different types of openings and accessories with their patented design.

Each part of the building was carefully designed and each element has its own precise function in terms of space and communication between the indoors and outdoors, carefully evaluated by Edilpiù. This includes the patio at the front by the pool that transforms into a relaxation and dining corner for relaxing after a refreshing dip. Thanks to the Sunroom Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system, the home and outdoors are once again connected. The clean aesthetics and extreme elegance of the Sunroom Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system ensures a naturally luminous space that allows you to fully enjoy the fantastic view of the pool and garden. It opens quickly, offering maximum practicality and security thanks to the tempered glass sheets. All of the accessories are minimal and discreet. The closures are operated using internal knobs. The rollers are made of stainless steel and the panels slide on lower tracks with a stainless steel lining for maximum durability.

Puro Bio Forlì

No borders: this is the new trend, even in the contract sector. A solution that lets you welcome your customers in a functional manner, like at PURO&BIO, an ice cream shop that was founded on a passion for artisanal ice cream and  well-being.  Organic ingredients and superfoods are the core of PURO&BIO that represents a new way of making ice cream since 2010. It is a place where each  day one can express and share the true passion for goodness and naturalness.

The installation by our partner Edilpiù includes five modules of Sunroom collapsible Tuttovetro frameless units, each with four panels for a total of fifteen linear metres with internal packing. The panels have tempered glass and silicone gaskets between the glass for greater air seal. The bottom track is recessed in the floor to reduce architectural barriers, and the aluminium upper track is adjustable. Some panels are used as doors with handle with lock and cylinder directly on the panel and with an adequately wide passage. When closing the Tuttovetro frameless system, they work as the entry to PURO&BIO.

The oxidized silver finish on the profiles is elegant and modern and combines perfectly with the natural style of wood and the colours of the furnishings.

Terraced house Budakalász

An installation in a terraced house in the Budakalász area of Hungary saw the creation of a new functional and healthy environment with large Sunroom Tuttovetro frameless openings that promote a natural and constant air exchange, without forgetting practicality and appearance.

After the creation of a steel bearing structure of about ten m2 without posts on the sides, our partner installed the Sunroom Tuttovetro frameless system in the collapsible version that, thanks to its great design flexibility, made it possible to create two open corners: definitely an added value in terms of design and definition of the areas.

The design called for the Sunroom Tuttovetro collapsible frameless system to completely gather on one side, towards the outside, to allow the view to be completely open and promote direct access to the wide terrace along the entire length of the building. The glazing used is in 10 mm tempered glass with sealing gaskets between the panels to protect against wind and rain.  The industrial style, with dark colours and exposed bricks, integrates perfectly with the elegance of glass and the colour chosen for the profiles.

ROYAL BEACH RESTAURANT

Royal Beach requested the creation of a new outdoor area that could best welcome its clients by day, as a modern beach resort, as well as by night, as an elegant beach-side restaurant.

The client has decided to completely renovate the outdoor area in an effort to enhance every space to fit harmoniously into the natural environment and create a new, liveable outdoor area that can be used all year round. The renovations were designed and implemented by the Edilpiù Srl team that, in about three months, gave new life to this sophisticated corner of the coast.  The project called for the creation of a self-supporting bioclimatic pergola positioned on a previously built plateau according to the precise evaluations of the partner installer, Edilpiù Srl.

Sunroom Oskura is patented in Europe, and is definitely a guarantee of reliability and durability. As a flexible and modern sunshade system, it offers many advantages for commercial buildings as it is possible to modulate sunlight and heat, depending on the season and on the various needs. With its adjustable and retractable slats, it allows the sun rays to filter through on cooler days and create a healthy and ideal indoor micro-climate, while the full closure of the roof offers good resistance to rain or direct sunlight. Also, the perfect sliding of its electrically-motorised closing system allows for quiet and smooth packing that will not disturb the guests during dinner or relaxation.

Another great advantage of the Oskura bioclimatic pergola was the possibility to customize it through the side glass closing systems to be able to enjoy the Royal Beach restaurant practically all year round!  For this reason, our partner Edilpiù performed the installation of the Sunroom Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding doors around the entire perimeter of the structure as the ideal addition to the bioclimatic pergola.

The clean appearance and extreme elegance of this type of glazed unit combined with the sustainability of the materials used offers a bright environment that “exceeds” the border between indoors and outdoors, for a complete sea view without the obstruction of vertical profiles.

The elegant black colour of the Oskura pergola harmonizes with the wood recovered from the old Venetian mooring posts used as open beams to make the Royal Beach location truly unique and exclusive. The attention to detail and harmony with the landscape in the project carried out by Edilpiù Srl is evident even in the choice of the last Sunroom S. 70 TT sliding glass element.  Secure and sturdy, this type of glazed unit ensures a significant aesthetic impact, is particularly solid thanks to its central reinforcements, and it can also be used to create large panels and glazing of various thicknesses. The ergonomic handle is easy to use and perfectly suitable to commercial areas.

Finally, a very important element, it includes a recessed floor track for maximum practicality and minimum obstruction for passing guests.

IL PRINCIPINO EN

Built in July 1938, the Principe di Piemonte beach resort, better known as Il Principino, is one of the largest and historic establishments in Italy situated on the famous Viareggio coast, which has always been a meeting point of the intellectual and artistic life on the Tuscan coast.

And in 2018, 80 years after its historic inauguration, one of the most evocative places in all of Versilia began to shine again with its bygone charm thanks to a careful and ambitious renovation: today, Il Principino is not only an historic beach resort, but also a true multi-functional centre for conventions and events. The area covers over 3000 m2 in a unique location right next to the sea.

The outdoor space immediately captures the visitor’s attention due to its ca. 300 m2 pergola, which – in addition to creating impressive scenery – guarantees enjoyment of Il Principino all year round. The owner of the facility greatly desired a radical renovation to bring Il Principino back to its original splendour, entrusting the restoration to Architects Beatrice Brunetti and Marcello Povoleri. The two professionals created a complex and innovative design, with one of its strong points displayed right in the large pergola made up of 21 individual Oskura bioclimatic pergolas and about 150-metre Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding glazed units that run along the perimeter of the structure.

Before installing the Oskura pergolas, it was necessary to design a steel bearing structure to be built ad hoc as well as an imposing system of channels and gutters, specifically conceived of for this project.   The construction was completed by our partner Casabella Casasicura in Viareggio, province of Lucca.

ZENZERO BAR

Zenzero is a charming location, a modern trendy cocktail & lounge bar, recently the subject of an ambitious restyling as the result of the renovation project conducted by our installer partner Edilpiù.

The owner intended to completely renovate the outdoor area to offer guests comfort and protection from the weather. The new structure now has a large pergola with three distinct blocks that replaced an old, crumbling canopy. And for the best use of the outdoors in terms of practicality and style, two Sunroom Oskura bioclimatic pergolas were installed in a chocolate brown shade. Under the first pergola, which covers about 12 m2, the Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system was installed, with profiles in the same colour as the bioclimatic pergola. Both structures are equipped with perimeter LED lights.

One particular detail of this project is that the bar area has an S. 70 vertical sliding door with three panels: two fixed and one that opens inward, with the possibility of raising the glass.

In this manner it is possible to serve Zenzero’s customers directly from the large sliding glazed unit, which becomes a distinctive and original architectural element.

It is a custom solution for the contract sector that has seen Sunroom products become the leading player with intelligent space distribution and the state-of-the-art construction of our partner, Edilpiù.

PRIVATE VILLA Niederösterreich

The garden has always been an integral part of our home, but the time when it could only be used on fine summer days is long gone! The barbecue is now a trend and children play more and more often outdoors, however, in order for an outdoor space to be used all year round, it must be liveable and protected. The installation of a modern and minimal bioclimatic pergola like Sunroom Oskura is the optimal solution.

Our partner, Arrea GmbH installed two European-patented Oskura completely openable bioclimatic pergolas with retractable slats in this private home in Lower Austria.  The area is large so two pergolas were placed side-by-side, both fitted to a wall. Durable and easy to maintain, these structures are certified. Extruded aluminium profiles are used rather than those made of thin sheet metal, as can often occur with this type of product.

Thanks to the retractable slats and sound-absorbing insulation, Oskura offers good protection from the weather and ensures an excellent indoor bioclimate.

The Sunroom Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system was installed on the perimeter to protect the two bioclimatic pergolas and enjoy the outdoors in any season without forgetting practicality and style.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE CASTELLI ROMANI (RM)

When choosing a freestanding pergola, the desire to be completely immersed in nature with an open view on all four sides quickly becomes synonymous with freedom! The owner wanted to create an outdoor environment in the central body of the house located in the hills of Castelli Romani due to the ample outdoor spaces to best be experienced with the Oskura bioclimatic pergola.

The project, carried out by Arch. Guagliardi in collaboration with Tecnoart, our partner who took care of the entire installation, saw the planning of a self-supporting structure of about 27 m2 with two Oskura bioclimatic pergolas next to each other and complete with whirlpool tub, chromotherapy lamps, and carefully chosen furnishings for a relaxation area with an elegant and functional style.

To close the two Oskura bioclimatic pergolas, a Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system was installed along the entire perimeter to ensure greater continuity between the indoors and outdoors. The absence of vertical profiles and the practicality of the Tuttovetro Slide parallel sliding door system are fundamental characteristics for customizing the pergola. On the structural level, it was decided to hide the downpipes.

The Oskura bioclimatic pergola installed has a clean, refined, and minimal design that adapts to the style of the building to offer maximum comfort in any situation, even during the evening hours. Brilliant and pleasant LED lighting was built into the side gutters. Installation was quick and simple, without visible screws or cables. The remote-controlled LED lighting provides a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere and adds a design element to this beautiful pergola.

SINGLE VILLA Baltera infernetto

The customer needed to enhance the patio of this beautiful villa in the Capital to create a new environment that could protect from the wind and rain.  The complete opening of the glass system chosen must allow the outside to be expanded and to also use the large arcade.

Our partner Baltera resolved everything with the SunroomTuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system with 10 mm tempered glass and no vertical profiles and with stainless steel accessories and design handle on the panel, completely fulfilling the owner’s requests.  The Tuttovetro Slide frameless sliding system, which is wider in the central entry, is made up of four panels, while the smaller two sliding units on the sides each have three panels. The installer partner Baltera then recessed the bottom track in the floor for an excellent appearance, making it more practical when crossing.
